CLEARANCE YOUR CHANCE TO GET ONE OF THE LAST OF OUR ZELDA SWORDS
OK so it would be so very easy and tempting to say that this Master Sword is just like all the others, except they are all different! This is the form used in the Twilight Princess game but is the more traditional blue/yellow combination.
Yet another Master Sword, (Gosh dosn't Link ever hold onto the same sword?) from the ever popular video game. This one is very nice with gold accents on the hilt/guard area and of course the Tri force symbol engraved onto the blade itself.
The sword Strider wears when he first meets the Hobbits at the Prancing pony. Famed for his tracking and bushcraft Aragorn has renounced his birthright as King of Gondor and led a simple (yet exciting) life as a Ranger. Of course he has the added advantage of living a bit longer than most and has already had a memorable meeting with a certain young Elven Princess. In case you hav'nt seen the extended DVD and comentaries this was the sword Viggo Mortensen carried about with him all the time and was stopped by the Police while doing so. Well this is a replica of it...you understand.
Théoden is the King of Rohan. When we first see him he is having a bad hair day! In fact he looks very much like he escaped from one of Peter Jackson's earlier films (perhaps the Frightners?) but thankfully good old Gandalf is there to give him a quick haircut and manicure and have Théoden looking good as new and more Kingly in appearance. One thing leads to another, as it inevitably does in these sorts of stories, and the King has to ride forth and defend the people from all manner of foul beasts etc. Which kinda brings us to this here sword .....cos its what he used see?
Forged in the pits of hell (well at least those below the once beautiful gardens of Isengard) this ugly blade was created for one purpose (to kill) by the Orcs working with Saruman, who orders the destruction of the forests surrounding Isengard to build weapons of war and create an elite Orc army called the Uruk-hai.
The Shusui is one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords. It was once wielded by the samurai Ryuma, who appeared as a zombie on Thriller Bark, who had been given the shadow of Brook. After his defeat, Ryuma bequeathed the sword to Roronoa Zoro, and said he was satisfied with Zoro as the sword's master. The sword then replaced Zoro's Yubashiri which was destroyed at Enies Lobby.
The Wado Ichimonji is a sword of great personal importance to Roronoa Zoro, and it was once Kuina's and her family's sword. It is also one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords. Upon Kuina's death, Zoro asked for it from her father. As one of the twenty one finest katana in the world, Wado Ichimonji is a powerful blade when used by a competent swordsman. It is also quite durable, as shown when Dracule Mihawk's Yoru shattered two of Zoro's swords, this is the only one that did not break at all.
The Yubashiri is one of the fifty Ryo Wazamono grade (called Skillfull Grade in the Viz edition) swords. Roronoa Zoro obtained this sword for free from a sword shop owner. The sword was a family heirloom and the best sword in the shop, in Loguetown. Ippon-Matsu gave it to Zoro after he saw the skill and courage that Zoro showed in testing the curse of Sandai Kitetsu. It was destroyed via rusting by Shu in the battle against the Marines's captains and commanders on the Bridge of Hesitation at Enies Lobby.
